Hollywood is back in Brooklyn, and this week the cameras and action are on Amity St. in Cobble Hill between Henry and Clinton. I noticed the trailers, catering trucks and crew en route to work yesterday and they were back at it again today. They should be shooting till sundown (at least) so if you are in the neighborhood, walk on over and maybe you can sneak a peek at Pierce Brosnan! Oh yeah!
Remember Me is slated for a 2010 release and is being directed by Allen Coulter (who directed many episodes of both The Sopranos and Sex and the City as well as the 2006 film Hollywoodland). In addition to Pierce Brosnan, the film also stars sexy British actor Robert Pattinson (Twilight), Lost's Emilie de Ravin and Chris Cooper (too many fabulous films to mention, love him!). According to IMDb, the film is "a drama centered on two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies." Apparently Pattinson plays a man whose parents split after this brother commits suicide and de Ravin's character pledges to live life to the fullest after she witnesses the murder of her mother. Sounds like some heavy drama to me!
